Field Trip: Beginning Bird Walk: American Canyon's Wetlands Edge Park

Date: Sunday February 09, 2020

Time: 9:00 AM

Beginning Bird Walks are back! Please join us on this family-friendly excursion from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm (NSAS Event)

Details:

Leader: Holly Jessop and Lauri Puzo

Description: We're very pleased to be resuming our Beginning Bird Walk series this coming Sunday, with one walk per month, except during summer. Thank you to Holly Jessop and Lauri Puzo for volunteering their time.

There will be a brief presentation on the importance of the Wetlands for migrating water fowl and shorebirds. Bring binoculars, water, hats, sunscreen and enthusiasm. For those new to birding and do not have binoculars we will have some to loan out.

Please note: Extreme rain cancels the walk.

Directions: Meet up will be adjacent to the parking lot at the foot of Eucalyptus Drive, American Canyon.
