Field Trip: Birding for Adults: Fun Over 50Date: Saturday January 19, 2019Time: 2:00 PM“Fun over 50” walks are geared towards active adults over 50, and we will cover more detailed information about beginning birding and learn about resources for starting out in this fulfilling outdoor pursuit. (NSAS Event) Details:Leader: Crystal DeMarco Description: Our first "Fun Over 50" will be at Oxbow Preserve from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. We will discuss popular field guides, weigh the pros and cons of various free birding apps, and discuss binoculars and scopes. Registration is free, and available through the City of Napa Park and Recreation Activity Guide: https://apm.activecommunities.com/naparec/Home Directions: Go to 1028 McKenzie Dr, Napa, CA 94559. From the intersection of First Street and the Silverado Trail, drive north on the Silverado Trail for .2 miles. Make a left at McKenzie Drive. Drive west for 400 ft. and park at the Oxbow Preserve.
