Details:

Leader: Crystal DeMarco

Description: Ever wonder why migrating geese fly in a V? Or why migrating hawks and vultures fly around in big circles? This month we will answer these questions and explore why some birds migrate and others stay put.

The workshop will start at 9:00a.m. followed by a walk at 9:30 a.m. until noon. Walks are appropriate for all ages (children must be accompanied by an adult). Please bring binoculars if you have them and water.

Directions: Meet at Lake Solano County Park, 8685 Pleasants Valley Road, Winters, CA 95694, on the visitors center side. Note there is a $6.00 parking fee.
