Walks and workshops aimed at Beginning Birders are held twice a month on Saturdays. All workshops begin at 9 a.m., followed by bird walks at 9:30 a.m. until noon. (NSAS Event)

Leader: Wendy Schackwitz

Description: National Audubon has determined 50% of our birds will be threatened by climate change. We will explain the science behind this research, and explain ways that you can help our climate threatened birds.

Directions: Meet at the Newell Open Space Preserve parking lot at 9:00 a.m. From Hwy 29, drive east on Donaldson Way until it ends and then turn left on Newell Drive.
