Description: American Cyn Wetlands is currently hosting several thousand shorebirds and ducks. We'll try the low tide on Friday, walking the loop to the Napa River and back, a level 2 miles between mudflats, grassland and weedy thickets. Recent sightings include Red Knot, Blue-winged Teal, and Peregrine Falcon. Bring a bottle of water. Facilities at the parking lot.

Napa carpool leaves from the east side of Sweeney's sport shop in Riverpark shopping center at 8:00am. Riverpark is off Imola Ave between Jefferson and Coombs. On your own, the wetlands parking lot is at the corner of Eucalyptus Drive and Wetlands Edge Road on the northwestern edge of the city of American Canyon.
