Event: Junior Audubon Walk at Trancas Crossing Park

Date: Wednesday April 18, 2018

Time: 2:00 PM

Junior Audubon Bird Walks are on select Wednesdays from 2-4 p.m. They are free and open to the public. Join us as we explore local trails, learn about birds and wildlife, and just enjoy the beauty of the Napa Valley. Parents and younger siblings are encouraged to attend. The goal of the Junior Audubon program is to attract school aged birders, but all ages are welcome. Our walks are family-friendly. We walk at a moderate pace, stopping frequently to enjoy watching and listening to the birds. (NSAS Event)

Trancas Crossing Park is a 33-acre park at the northern tip of the Napa River Trail. Here we will explore the lush river habitats, searching for Belted Kingfisher and dabbling ducks.

Directions: From the 29 Northbound, exit Trancas. Make a right, go East on Trancas for 1 mile, make a left at Old Trancas Road, go 90 feet. Make a right to stay on Old Trancas Road. The parking lot is at the first left. Sign says Trancas Crossing Park. Meet in the parking lot.
