Our Junior Audubon walks for teens and pre-teens are starting up again on select Wednesdays from 2 pm to 4 pm. Our first walk will be at Alston Park. (NSAS Event)
A bird walk for younger birders and any parents who want to attend! This large open park has many trails that wind through grassy hills and patches of brush. It’s a great location to observe wintering sparrows, Say’s Phoebes and other open land birds. Leaders from Napa-Solano Audubon Society will provide binoculars and field guides. Contact Crystal DeMarco at crystalrose51996@gmail.com for more information.
Directions: From downtown Napa, head north on Highway 29. After about 2.5 miles, take a left on Trower Avenue. Drive one mile to Dry Creek Road, take a right and go about 100 feet. Turn left into the parking lot where we will meet (not the dog park side).
