Event: Junior Audubon Walk at Alston Park

Date: Saturday January 14, 2017

Time: 8:00 AM

Teens and pre-teens and any parents who want to join them can participate in guided bird walks in Alston Park. (NSAS Event)

Details:

This large open park has many trails that wind through grassy hills and patches of brush. It’s a great location to observe wintering sparrows, raptors, Say’s Phoebes and other open land birds. Leaders from the Audubon Society will provide binoculars and field guides.

Directions:

From downtown Napa, head north on Highway 29. After about 2.5 miles, take a left on Trower Avenue. Drive one mile to Dry Creek Road, take a right and go another half mile. We will meet at the north parking lot on the left side of the road (not the dog park side).
