Event: Great Backyard Bird Count Workshop & Walk in American Canyon Wetlands

Walks and workshops aimed at beginning birders are held twice a month on Saturdays. All workshops begin at 9:00 a.m., followed by bird walks at 9:30 a.m. until noon. (NSAS Event)

Details:

February 12-15 is the national Audubon Great Backyard Bird Count, and this workshop will show you how you can participate and help scientists better understand the world around us by recording the birds that you see in your backyard.

The workshop begins at 9am., followed by a bird walk in American Canyon Wetlands at 9:30 a.m. until noon. Walks are on flat ground and appropriate for all ages (children must be accompanied by an adult). Please bring binoculars if you have them and water.

Meet at 9:00 a.m. at the American Canyon Wetlands parking lot on the corner of Wetlands Edge Road and Eucalyptus Drive.
